The Radiocommunications Laboratory (LRC) is a research group from the Universidad Privada Boliviana. Its facilities are located in Cochabamba (Bolivia), at the Julio León Prado Campus. Led by Dr. Gustavo Siles Soria, the LRC initiated its activities in 2020 and currently works on the following research areas: Radiopropagation and radiometeorology: We study the influence of atmospheric components on the propagation of  radiowaves in satellite and terrestrial radio links and estimation models to account for these impairments. With this purpose, we analyze meteorological and rainfall data from different sources. Wireless communications systems: We are interested on the analysis, deployment and use of wireless communication systems as a support to the development of Bolivia, from satellite to terrestrial systems.
